The Metro 21 has been a great mower for us over the years. We started with the old Toro 2-cycle version more than a decade ago. After the 2-cycle went away we tried the Honda HR's w/ hydro drives, but they were heavy and parts were pricey. We went back to the Metro witch is lighter and faster than the Honda. One drawback, and it's minor, is the drive belt on the Metro has to be adjusted once or twice when new. After that it's not an issue. The Kawi engine has a huge fuel tank, and the mower just gets the job done. Highly recommend!

The Metro 21 is an awesome mower! This is the first exmark I've ever purchased and I'm not dissappointed. The Kawasaki engine has a pressurized oil system with a spin-on oil filter and a big fuel tank. The wheels are a little small, but speed is definitely not an issue. I bought this mower about six months ago and it handled the growing season just fine. Now I'm testing it in our wet weather, and so far there are no complaints.
